Ramsden Hall Academy strives for young people to reach their academic, physical, emotional and social potential, creating an ethos of engaging young people with their learning:

  • Developing values of respect and resolve.
  • Using theoretical approaches of positive reinforcement and restorative practice.

The key aim of boarding is enabling young people to improve their ability of engaging with learning. A prime aspect of the provision is based on safety and wellbeing of young people with an operation aiming at providing learning experiences via fun, stimulation and social enhancement. Within the building, the residential provision is divided into three school houses, named Oak, Willow and Elm.

Boarding Rota

All Ramsden Hall Academy students are invited to take advantage of the school’s Monday to Thursday, term time boarding provision. Boarding arrangements are made on an individual basis with the students and their Parents/Carers.

We aim to allow the boarders to choose their boarding nights, but at the same time try and spread the numbers of residents out as evenly as possible throughout the week.
