Our Aim

We support every pupil to re-engage with education, build confidence, and achieve success. Our curriculum is designed for pupils who may have experienced gaps in learning or challenges with school, helping them feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

How We Teach

- Clear, step-by-step teaching so pupils understand what to do
- Regular practice and revisiting of learning to help it ‘stick’
- Strong focus on reading, writing and communication across all subjects
- Support gradually reduced as pupils become more confident and independent

Learning Journey

- Year 6/7: Focus on rebuilding confidence, routines and core skills (especially reading, writing and maths)
- Year 7/8: Developing independence, subject knowledge and social skills
- Key Stage 4: Gaining qualifications and preparing for college, training or employment
